Computer Ethics and Computer Crime


In this age and time more and more people are using computers. It helps everyone to simplify his or her work and makes it easy. But there is a downside to it, but like with everything it comes with pitfalls. So to avoid these there should be rules and there is. Read this and follow these rules

Computer Ethics:

Ethics is a set of moral principles that govern the behaviour of a group or individual. Therefore, computer ethics is set of moral principles that regulate the use of computers. Some common issues of computer ethics include intellectual property rights (such as copyrighted electronic content), privacy concerns, and how computers affect society. Computer Ethics is a part of practical philosophy, which concern with how computing professionals should make decisions regarding professional and social conduct.
Computer ethics was propounded Washington DC was purposed following ten issues related to the computer ethics.

·                Do not use a computer to harm other people.

·                Do not interfere with other people computer work 
·                Do not interfere around other people commuter files.
·                Do not use or copy on license software for which we do not have paid.
·                Do not use a computer to still.
·                Do not use a computer to bear falls wetness.
·                Do not others people computer resources without authorization or proper compensations (PAY) 
·                Do not use people intellectual outputs.
·                Always think about social consequences of program we are writing or designing 
·                Always use a computer in certain wage that demonstrate consideration and respect for our fallow human.



Computer Crime:

Alternatively referred to as cyber crimee-crime, electronic crime, or hi-tech crime. Computer crime is an act performed by a knowledgeable computer user, sometimes referred to as a hacker that illegally browses or steals a company's or individuals private information. In some cases, this person or group of individuals may be malicious and destroy or otherwise corrupt the computer or data files.
Computer crime is criminal activities, which involves the uses of information technology to gain and illegal, are on authorized access to a computer system with the intension of damaging deleting or altering computer data.

Computer crime may not necessary involves in damaging property but also include manipulation of confidential data and critical information. Computer crime may be considered as: -


·                Unlawful access of data in computers

·                Unauthorized use of computer services
·                Changing and damaging data in computer.
·                Ownership of devices to obtain authorized telephone facilities
·                Destruction of private of public document that means hacking website transmission of data or viruses.
·                Do damage the program, computer system and computer network.
·                Computer Crime/ cyber Crime





In conclusion there are perks of using a computer and should be used responsibly.

Useful application everyone must have



Numerous individuals pay out vast totals of cash for software that multiple occasions have a totally free option they are basically ignorant of. I've understood that a few individuals don't understand the unlimited measures of unpredictable and capable software that are basically clicks away, so I am going to pause for a minute and highlight some of what I feel are the best ones out there. In addition to having an awesome name Spy Bot S&D is the best program out there for hunting down malware that has found it's way into your unsuspecting system. The only slight draw back to this one is that it is NOT real time protection, meaning you need to remember to run the update for it and scan your system each week.

Compressing files is useful when you are trying to to send a large amount of files to someone or simply for storing files that is not often used often. 7-zip contains a custom archiving format, .7z, that is much more efficient than the standard .zip. In addition to having this custom format it also can compress into the more universally standard .zip in a more timely manner than the built in Windows compression software or commercial software such as WinZip

Gimp is a tool for manipulating images on the computer. In contains essentially all of the features the commercial soft Adobe Photoshop does. If you are already familiar with the Photoshop GUI there is also a plugin for Gimp called “Gimpshop” that makes Gimps GUI mirror that of Photoshop's.
